How does it work

Laser energy is transmitted in the form of heat, heating the targeted fat cells under the skin without injuring the surface of the skin. This will slowly shrink the fat cells and eventually kill them. Finally, the dead fat cells will be removed through the body’s natural elimination of the lymphatic system. The result is usually apparent by six weeks and reach its optimal result at 12 weeks. It typically requires multiple treatments to an achieve optimal result.

What to expect during the treatment

At the beginning of the treatment you will feel a cooling sensation to prepare the skin, then an intermittent sensation of heat on the skin. The fluctuation of temperature may cause some tingling sensation, though it is usually tolerable for most patients. 

What to expect after the treatment

You might experience some alteration of sensation, for example, numbness, tingling, and soreness. Other common side effects are redness and swelling. Nevertheless, most symptoms are usually subsided within a couple of days.
