IPL คืออะไร ?

Intense Pulsed Light or IPL is an innovative technology involving the use of a broad spectrum of light (500-1,200 nm) to treat a variety of skin conditions, for example, freckles, melasma, facial redness, and wrinkles. In addition, it can also help to reduce the appearance of enlarged pores, and also remove unwanted hair.

What can IPL help ?

• Improve skin tone and texture
• Minimize the appearance of pores
• Improve the appearance of dyschromia

What to expect and do after the treatment ?

• Minimal to no downtime. You may return to your normal daily routine instantly after the treatment.
• Skin redness may occur in some, but usually resides within a couple of hours.
• Treatment can be done once every 2-4 weeks and can expect visible improvement after 4-6 treatments.
• Avoid sun exposure for 1-2 weeks after treatment.

Asian skin is typically darker than the Caucasians, therefore Asians are more prone to experience dark discolouration after laser treatment. Therefore, it is important to use a machine that is suitable for Asian skin.

Furthermore, it is our iSKY standard to highly value our patient’s safety. Therefore, we selectively separate IPL gel for each individual per treatment and never reuse the gel.
